Many people think leadership requires boldness, confidence, or charisma. But according to Scripture—and the example of Jesus—humility is essential for strong leadership. Without humility, you may lead for a season, but you won’t lead with lasting impact.

But here’s the good news:

Most of us could raise our hand high! Some of us might have a pride issue instead of true confidence. We hear a lot about self-confidence, yet as believers we know that it is not confidence in ourselves we need, but confidence in the One who said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”

This works. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you may be facing. It doesn’t matter if it is a small struggle, a huge problem, or a need that needs to be met. You have everything you need in order to rise up and lead well.
