Now It Shall Spring Forth

Now It Shall Spring Forth

It’s March! Spring is coming. I am watching with anticipation to see what springs forth in God’s creation – the trees, the shrubs, the flowers.

I wonder if God is watching us like that?

I wonder if God is looking at what lies dormant, hoping.

I wonder if He is eager with anticipation to see us bloom into who He is calling us to be?

This morning, He led me to Isaiah 43:18-19,

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

In this scripture the Lord commanded His people not to remember the past. He promised to do a new thing, saying it would spring forth. He said He would make a way. We know the story. We remember the grumbling. We know the fulfillment of His promises.

But what about us?

Are we dormant, looking backwards, stuck in our past, doing the same old things?

Are we spending time in God’s word allowing it to transform us, change us, make us new?

Are we springing forth to walk in obedience, to walk on the path He has for us, to rise up and lead?

If you need a little more encouragement, listen to the first few scriptures in this chapter…

“But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel; fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God.”

Oh, sweet friend, I needed this reminder today and I am wondering if you did, too.

I am His, He is mine.

His way is the best way.

I surrender to His will and seek to walk in obedience to Him. I give Him my life, my day, my minutes to use as He sees fit. I say Yes to Him.

Lord, help us to not lie dormant any longer. Lord, help us to bloom. Use us, Lord to reflect your glory, to impact those around us, to lead others to you.

Amen.

I am praying for you!

Hi friend 🤍

If you’ve ever felt called to more… but unsure what your next step is—you are not alone.

My name is Pam Pegram, and I’m a Leadership and Personal Growth Coach who loves Jesus.

I help Christian women gain clarity, build confidence, and step into Christ-centered influence—at work, in their community, and at home.

Because you were never meant to just get by…
You were created to live with purpose, impact others, and walk fully in what God has for you.

Here’s what I believe:

  • If you are a believer, you are called to lead

  • Leadership is influence—being salt and light (Matthew 5)

  • It’s not about position, personality, or platform

  • It’s about living on purpose right where God has placed you

How do we do that?

Through the Called to Lead Framework, where we focus on:

✔️ The formation of you as a leader (identity, mindset, beliefs)
✔️ The formation of your leadership (connection, vision, influence)
✔️ The practical application of impacting others and leaving a legacy
